Termički tisak na keramiku – Trajna i precizna tisak
Thermal printing on ceramics is a technology that enables permanent and precise decoration of ceramic products. The process begins by printing a logo or design onto transfer paper using screen printing with ceramic inks. After printing, the water-soaked transfer paper is wrapped around the ceramic item.
The printed item is then placed in a kiln and fired at a high temperature of nearly 1000°C for several hours. During firing, the transfer paper burns away while the inks fuse into the surface of the ceramic. This process ensures a permanent and durable decoration that remains intact even after repeated washing and long-term use.
The advantage of thermal printing on ceramics lies in the durability of the colors, resistance to mechanical wear, and dishwasher-safe capability. Although the color intensity may be slightly lower compared to other techniques, the longevity and quality of the decoration make this method a popular choice for personalizing mugs, glasses, and other ceramic products.
